Authenticating your calendar account(s) with Calenderio is a necessary step in getting your calendar connections setup correctly. Calenderio needs access to your calendar account for three reasons:
If you're unfamiliar with the terms "source calendar" or "destination calendar", check out our Common Calendar Terms guide.
This guide assumes you have already created a Calenderio account and you are signed in to the dashboard.
The first step when authenticating a new account is to head to the Accounts page.
On the Accounts page, you'll see the "Add a new account" button. Clicking that button will redirect you to our calendar partner, Cronofy, where you will authenticate your calendar account.
None of your calendar account credentials are stored with Calenderio.
The final step is to authorize your account credentials with Cronofy. This step will depend on the calendar provider you are trying to authenticate. Cronofy will walk you through the steps required, but in most cases it is as simple as choosing which account you want to authorize and then approving access for Cronofy to access your account.
That's all we have to do to authorize our calendar account. After approving access for Cronofy to access your account, you'll be redirected back to Calenderio. You should now see your authorized account(s) on the Accounts page.
